While making my interactive mini game i learned one important thing that surprised me it turns out that if you think a game is easy for the players make sure that you double check that it is easy because looks can be deceiving i had to change my game so it could be easier and i think it works better now.

Play to Learn Part 2

The game topic or genre i piked was action because those type of games are really fun to play and they are also a chalange to make. I also learned from the games  reviewed.  I have learned that puzzle and maze games are the best type of games to show a learning topic.Some game features that stood out to me the most were how in some games the animation was so real.In conclusion i have no questions about my game genre (action).

presenting your final game

The learning topic of my game is to learn what tools the colonist in the thirteen colonies used to use .I specifically want my players to learn how hard the colonist had it back then not being able to use the tech noligi  we have  now.It took me a while to find the information i needed  until i found this website called history .org it had all the information about the tools the colonist used, it was really helpful i learned about tools that i didn't even know existed.Also my ideas didn't change much while i was doing my game i stiked to my outline that i planed.All the game ingredients i put in my game were really helpful on making my game way better than it was.In addition i haven't used the help center much.I also had some difficulties in making my game for example i just couldn't add my score it was one problem after another so i got my friend to help me it turned out i just forgot to put one line of code i felt dom .

I had many problems with my game ingredients but one of the hardest problems was adding score.It was like one problem after another i was about to quit until i hit a brake through .when i realized  the problem i felt dom because the problem was avoidable i forgot to add a instance name and also i forgot to use dynamic text.

Adding hidden objects was actually easier than i thought.It was easier than i thought because in wiki it shows you how to do it step by step.Probably the hardest thing i had to do was probably to put the code for every tool and i'm saying it was hard because i drew like 15 different tools but i pulled through the boredom of doing the code.In conclusion it wasn't the funnest thing in the world to put the code in my game but i'm glad i did it.

When i started tracing my my plantation house it looked like my little 6 year old brother did it. But when i saw a video about how to trace in flash i learned so many new things about it.For example  i learned how to use the gradient tool it makes your pictures look realistic. When i finally finished drawing my picture with all the new things i learned it looked great.

Paper prototype

Making my paper prototype was fun . When i first started it  i needed allot of places to hide my tools.But when i finished i thought it was great.My paper prototype helped me with my game by making it harder to find things.also  a cool thing is i finished my paper prototype in 1 day.

Game Design

I am going to draw people working on houses. Then i'm going to draw the tools being used by the  people.What excites me about it is when i'm going  to draw the people because I love a chalange . Another things that excites me is the  challenge of  drawing the houses.I'll also look forward to drawing the tools.

13 Colinies

 I chosed to do my project on 13 colonies because i think it would be fun to draw a colonies seen .I'm also going to hide tools that they used in the thirteen colonies in my scene  I also thought it would be a chalange to.Also i am anxious to find a way to hide all the tools in my seen.

play to learn

What I learned about these games are that it would be cool to have a magnifying glass in my  game.I also learned it would be fun to make my game about graphing and or about a social issue .The one that standed out the most was Dirty river because the graphics were really cool .I also like the graphics in Kitty math.

Back to school

When i came back to this school i saw all my friends and i felt happy when i saw  them because i knew that i wouldn't feel lonely this year.So far this year its been great because i had all the classes i wanted with all my friends.I didn't like the food so much because it was really healthy and tasted bad.A good thing that surprised me was how big the campus was. But the problems of the big campus was that the campus wasn't done and also it was so big it was to hard to get to the classes .Also the teachers were really nice.That is how my year has gone so far.

my game

My game is about a wolf that is trying to get to its home.But in order to do that you have to avoid bears eagles and hunters.You will have to try and get these little bunny's for points.The background for the first level is mountains with ice on them and the platforms are ice .The background for the second level is pine trees  a blue sky and the platforms are normal ground .The things i liked about my game were how i drew the characters i also liked how my wolf moved i also liked how we put a score in our game.Some things we could have differently were that we could of added more levels also add more plat forms and also we could of made it easier.

Final Game reflection

This year I have learned allot about computers.I have also learned allot about flash. For example I have learned how to put in filters into game demos also i have learned how to make a platform game finally i have also learned to use the deco tool.This year i have also gotten better at drawing stuff in flash and I've also got better at programming in flash.This year I have also noticed that i have gotten better at solving my own problems and i don't need as much help from ms. Valdez.I have also learned allot about the topic I researched for my game for example i have learned that Adult wolfs can eat up to 20 pounds also i have learned that Wolf packs can be up to 30 members.This year i have also learned allot about my self for example i have learned that i work better in a team 2nd i have also learned that i like solving my own problems 3d i have also learned that i am more confident about what i can do with computers. In conclusion the hardest part of Globaloria this year was making my game.

Platform Game Project

I have enjoyed working on the platform game project because I like challenges.I also learned allot of new codes in flash while we were doing this project.From this project I have also learned that I my self am not the best person at flash codes because I had allot of errors when I was debugging my game. My favorite part about this project was the feeling you get when you figure out your own problems.The part I didn't like the most was the debugging part because it was hard going line by line cheeking for errors. To my opinion I think this project was little to challenging for me.

new idea
